About Dr. Benlin You
Dr. Benlin You, born in 1959, a native of Nanjing, former associate professor at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is an eminent award-winning Chinese calligrapher enjoying an international reputation.
He was a graduate both at Nanjing University in 1982 and Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1996. Having practised brush calligraphy for some fifty years, his calligraphy art now draws main-stream media attention and the interest of high profiled collectors both in China and abroad. One of his masterpieces was engraved at The Badaling Great Wall in Beijing. Contrary to the belief of many that he must be a full-time artist, he is virtually a highly respected doctor of Chinese medicine and acupuncture in Victoria.

当代中国书法名家尤本林先生南京市浦口区人，生于1959年，南京大学碑板派书法传人， 师承母校侯镜昶先师，是位治学严谨， 学贯中西的当代文化学者。1996年应邀到墨尔本从事中医高等教育和私人执业。曾任世界卫生组织总部五级翻译，江苏电视台英语新闻主持人， 南京中医药大学副教授，澳大利亚中医注册委员会委员。 现任中国画院常务理事，澳大利亚中国书法家协会主席，澳大利亚江苏总商会副会长。
