ChiJian Ye Bio
Born in 1952 Professor ChiJian Ye is a retired Professor of Fine Arts of GuangDong Industry Technical College. He completed his graduation from the GuangZhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1975 and XiAn Fine Art Academy in 1981.
He had been a Member of the China Institute of Arts and Sculpture Professional Committee and a Member of GuangDong Artists Association. Professor Ye is also a Member of the Council of the Artist Committee of the China Ceramics Industrial Association, and the Council of the GuangDong Arts and Crafts Association, together with the Council of the Guangzhou Arts & Crafts Association. Professor Ye is currently the Vice President of MelArt Association.
Since 1971, Professor Ye has created a large number of sculptures and ceramic works and also received multiple local & international accolades & awards. One of his best paintings “Terminal Sunrise” was selected as a finalist in the year 2013 ANL Maritime Art Awards and was awarded 3rd place in the ASP Traditional Maritime Art Awards.
Professor Ye’s thesis and exemplary works have been published in various major magazines and newspapers over the years. In 2001 his book “Contemporary Chinese Sculptors Collection — selected works of Ye ChiJian” was published by The Sculpture Professional Committee of China Arts and Crafts Association. In 2009 his personal portfolio “Wisdom of Earth, Love of my hometown Dong Guan, ChiJian Ye Artworks Collection” was published by LingNan Publishing House. In 2011 “Collection of Artworks By ChiJian Ye” was published by LingNan Art Publishing House.
From 2009, Prof Ye’s held multiple exhibitions in Australian and China, in Australia, he exhibited at the East and West Art Gallery, the Melbourne White Horse Art Space, the Sydney Nan Tien Temple Museum, Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery and in China, at the GuanCheng Art Museum, the LingNan Art Museum, the GuYuan Art Museum, the GuangDong Folk Art Museum. His artworks can be found in the collection of GuanCheng Art Museum, LingNan Art Museum, GuYuan Art Museum, GuangDong Folk Art Museum, Guangdong Folk Art Museum, Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum, Guangdong Museum of Chinese National Residing Abroad, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Melbourne White Horse Art Space, the Sydney Nan Tien Temple Museum, Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery as well as many local and international art galleries and museums.
葉熾堅
葉熾堅,1975年畢業于廣州美術學院雕塑系，1981年到西安美術學院雕塑系進修一年。現為廣東輕工職業技術學院教授(退休)从教四十多年。曾任廣東輕工職業技術學设计系副主任、中国陶瓷工业协会艺术委员会常务理事、中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会会员、广东省美术家协会会员、广东陶瓷协会理事，墨丽本藝術家協會副會長。1971年至今先後為省内外設計製作了大量的雕塑、陶瓷作品，曾先後到國外及 20 多次參加全國和省、市美展並獲獎。油畫作品《海港的早晨》入選2014年海員使團維多利亞年度海事藝術獎展览,獲ASP 最佳傳統獎第三名. 作品和論文經常在各大報刊、雜誌發表。2009 年至 2017 年曾先後在莞城美術館，嶺南美術館、吉元美術館、廣束民間工藝博物館、墨爾本東西畫廊、墨爾本白馬市藝術空間、悉尼南天寺賓藏館、中天美术馆、佛光缘美术馆翠辦個人美術作品 展及聯展。作品被多間美術館、博物館及國内外友人收藏
