Guosheng Wang

Biography of Wang Guosheng:

Wang Guosheng (Pseudonym: Shi Dunzi), born in Suzhou in 1960, is a famous Chinese ink painter and now he lives in Melbourne. He was graduated from Suzhou Art&Design Technology Institute and China Academy of Art. He is the director of Chinese Painter Calligrapher Association in Australia, the vice chairman of the Chinese Ink Painting Research Association in Australia, a member of the Australian National Art Exhibition Committee, and the president of the Australian Wu Culture and Art Research Association. He is a member of Suzhou Artists Association, Vice President of Suzhou Ceramic Art Association, and President of Jiangsu Yejuhua Painting Institute.

Solo exhibition experience:

In April 2019, Wang Guosheng successfully held his personal “Dancing with Ducks” – ink painting exhibition of Shi Dunzi, in Melbourne, Australia. The exhibition has well received attention and interest by people from all walks of life.

Artistic achievements:

  1. Participated in the autumn and winter exhibition of artworks in Melbourne, Australia in 2021.
  2. Participated in the 4th National Art Exhibition of Australia in 2021.
  3. Exhibited at the Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Flower-Bird Paintings – Flower Language and Harmony in June 2021.
  4. Participated in the Asian Art Biennial in Hong Kong in January 2020 and won the silver medal.
  5. Participated in the inauguration of the Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters Stamp Issue  and the China Star Exhibition in July 2019.
  6. Founded the Australian Wu Culture and Art Research Association and served as its president In May 2019

Art Exchange:

Organized an art exchange program for the Australian Wu Culture and Art Research Association to China with artists of the Wu School of Painting in 2019.

Public welfare activities:

1. Took part in various public welfare activities and art groups exchanges held in Melbourne and drew paintings for donation.

2. Took part in the charity sale and donation event ‘Going forward to fight the epidemic together by art’ for artists from home and abroad, organized by Australia and China to raise funds to fight against the epidemic in February 2020. All three pieces of artworks were donated.

3. Participated in the National Public Welfare Painting and Calligraphy (Online) Exhibition — —United effort to fight the epidemic and protect nature —— Flower-Bird Paintings in April 2020, sponsored by the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association.

王国胜

王国胜(笔名石墩子),1960年出生于苏州,著名中国画水墨画家,现居墨尔本,先后毕业于苏州工艺美术学院、中国美术学院。系澳大利亚中国书画学会理事,澳大利亚中国水墨画研究会副主席,澳大利亚全国美展委员会委员,澳大利亚吴文化艺术研究会会长。苏州美术家协会会员,苏州陶瓷艺术协会副会长,江苏野菊花画院院长。

个人画展经历:

2019年4月在澳大利亚墨尔本成功举办个人“与鸭共舞”石墩子水墨画展。受到各界人士的重视和关注。

艺术成就:

1、2021年参展澳大利亚墨尔本艺术作品秋冬季展。

2、2021年参展澳大利亚第四届全国美展。

3、2020年6月参展中国花鸟画邀请展-花语和合。

4、2020年1月参加在香港举办的《亚太艺术双年展》并获银奖。

5、2019年7月参加中国当代书画名家邮品首发式暨华夏之星展。6、2019年5月创立了澳大利亚吴文化艺术研究会并出任会长。

艺术交流:

2019年组织澳大利亚吴文化艺术研究会前往中国与吴门画派艺术家进行艺术交流活动。

公益活动:

1、多次参加墨尔本举办的各类公益活动,艺术团体交流,并挥毫捐赠。

2、参加2020年2月,有澳中联合主办爱心善款“艺”往无前 共抗疫情 海内外艺术家义卖义捐活动。三幅作品义卖后全部捐赠。

3、参加2020 年4月有中国书画家联谊会主办的——众志成城 抗击疫情 保护自然 ——全国公益书画(网络)展·花鸟画篇
