Wang Ruobing, is a writer and the editor-in-chief of “Australian Chinese Literature”. She has published many novels including “Flea Woman”, “Praying for a Season of Love”, a collection of essays, “Women of Our Family”, “The Opposite Boy”, “The Thirty-seventh Girl”, a collection of short stories, “Luo’s Amphibious Life” and a multitude of other books. Dozens of her essays and short stories have been selected into the “Violet Collection” series of books, “Anthology of Overseas Chinese Short Stories”, “100 Gratitude Stories for Middle School Students” and various annual anthologies.
Wang Ruobing won first prize for her writing in the 10th National Youth Newspaper “Good News, Good Works, Good Activities and Good Papers”, the second prize for the World Chinese Miniature Biennial Award. Wang Ruobing also won the very prestigious 9th (2018-2020) Golden Sparrow Award in the Mini Fiction category.
Wang Ruobing’s writings are very popular among readers and have been selected for the Chinese reading test of the National College Entrance Examination in many provinces and cities in China.
