She has been loving art since childhood. At junior school, she began to study painting with a famous teacher, and was responsible for the school wall newspaper and chalk drawing illustrations during her middle school years.
She Graduated from Hunan Institute of Physical Education majoring in martial arts . When she was teaching at the university, she was awarded the provincial’s award of “Outstanding Teacher” certificate.
In the early 1990s, she studied fashion design and created a fashion collection that was widely publicized by the Shenzhen media.
Qi Ying has studied arts under many famous painters. after learning from her seniors and exploring the techniques, she has been creating and researching on flower and bird paintings for a long time.
She has been a member of Shenzhen Seniors’ Calligraphy and Painting Research Association.
She has participated in many exhibitions in Shenzhen and its districts, Guangdong Province. Some of her works have been collected by the educational institutes in Shenzhen.
Qi Ying also took part in the Chinese painting exhibitions held by the Chinese Art Association in Australia.
Qi Ying now lives in Melbourne.

自幼学习美术，初中起跟名师学画。毕业于湖南体院武术系，选修舞蹈专业。九十年代初学习时装设计，创作的时装系列被当年深圳媒体广泛宣传。师从多位知名画家，长期坚持花鸟画创作与研究，系深圳老年书画协会研究会会员。多次参加广东省、深圳市画展和澳洲华人举办的国画展。目前已有多幅画作被深圳市相关机构和个人收藏。
